Purpose of this position

The role of the Retail Sales Representative at Maison Riviera is to contribute to sales expansion and brand awareness in the retail sector by ensuring a strong field presence and maintaining key relationships with retailers. This strategic role aims to optimize product availability and visibility, increase customer satisfaction, and identify market trends to support the company's competitiveness.

Key Relationships

  • The Sales Representative's key relationships are the Sales Manager, the sales, distribution, and logistics teams, as well as customer service, to ensure optimal coordination of sales activities.

Job Description

  • Visit customers according to a defined schedule to market products and ensure their availability at all times.
  • Maintain and develop strong relationships with key customers to ensure their satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Carry out all planned activities in the field sales process, optimizing product visibility to achieve set objectives.
  • Increase sales volume with current and future customers on the assigned territory.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as distribution and inside sales.
  • Identify and regularly communicate market developments, including those related to competition, new products, packaging, and business activities.
  • Continuously monitor product quality, pricing, and inventory, while following up with the Retail Sales Manager.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on sales performance and forecasts.
  • Provide quality customer service, tailored to specific customer needs.
  • Represent the company at events, conferences, and trade shows.

Job Requirements

  • 1 to 3 years of retail experience, preferably in the distribution sector. Food.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Knowledge of market and industry trends.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office applications.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Fluency in French; English, an asset.
