Description

We are currently recruiting for a results-oriented Retail Representative to represent our clients. This role offers you the opportunity to utilize your retail sales experience strategically through direct sales, merchandising, and POS placement. As part of our sales team, you will call on clients in the Grocery, Gas & Convenience Retail Channel to communicate and execute sales strategies, promotions, and guidelines. You will be responsible for driving results by identifying volume opportunities, providing excellent customer service, supplying product information, and ensuring product dominance and distribution.

Your excellent communication and sales skills, enthusiasm, and superior presentation abilities are essential. Highly organized, a natural problem solver, and adept at building strong client relationships, you will excel in this role.

Responsibilities

• Provide sales merchandising coverage and support retail special projects in your territory through in-store execution of client priorities and objectives.
• Handheld reporting
• New item placement
• Maintain 100% distribution of existing items
• Adhere to shelving guidelines and plan-o-grams
• Conduct pricing audits
• Build displays and place point-of-sale materials
• Build relationships with store personnel
• Negotiate product placement
• Communicate client information and promote sales

Qualifications

• Prior territory retail experience preferred
• Strong relationship-building and persuasive communication skills
• Organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently
• Computer literate and comfortable with digital technology
• Reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, safe driving record, and vehicle insurance
• Ability to lift at least 30 lbs, stand, bend, and reach daily
• Ability to drive for extended periods
• Capability to store sample products and racking
• High-speed Internet access
