The Headlines:
In the role of Sales Merchandiser (12-month Contract) working in Winnipeg, you will be part of the Western Commercial team. This position reports to Nathan Green.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and time management skills, be driven for success, and have a passion for quality beer. You will learn multiple aspects of merchandising, sales, and operations, while representing some of Canada’s favourite brands.
The Responsibilities:
- Build and support relationships with key customers, business partners, industry associations, government, and suppliers through a First Choice lens.
- Ensure excellent execution by building rapport and supporting product standards.
- Install, replace, or update POP material at the point of sale according to prior agreements or brand strategy (racks, price cards, display units, semi-permanent and permanent displays).
- Set up displays previously negotiated at head office or store level, ensuring current POP material is visible.
- Ensure Molson products are fully distributed based on store and head office compliance.
- Check product rotation and code dates to prevent expired products from being available for sale.
- Verify pricing for compliance and correct if necessary.
- Observe and record all competitive activity and report accordingly.
- Maintain product quality in assigned accounts, addressing issues like out-of-code products or torn packaging.
- Manage shipping and receiving of POS material from Molson Coors warehouse.

- You possess a post-secondary degree, preferably in Marketing or Business.
- You have 1-2 years of merchandising or sales experience within Molson or another consumer packaged goods organization.
- You must hold and maintain a valid provincial driver’s license without limitations or restrictions.
- As part of the recruitment process, candidates will need to consent to a criminal background check and provide a driver’s abstract.

Salary Range: $44,800 - $58,800 (Canada/B.C.)
