We are hiring a Retail Sales Merchandiser to work effectively with store management, increase retail sales, and execute client-driven merchandising that exceeds expectations. The role involves driving sales and brand awareness for our client's products at major retail locations in a friendly, outgoing manner. You will provide excellent customer service by engaging and educating customers about leading retail brands. Things to Consider:

  • This role involves representing our client, Ferrero Canada.
  • You will be part of a regional team, servicing multiple locations within your territory; reliable transportation is essential.
  • Candidate needs to be available Monday – Friday, roughly from 8 am to 5 pm (part-time or full-time hours).

What You’ll Do:

  • Maintain shelves at major retailers, ensure Planogram compliance, and correct pricing
  • Physical requirements: standing for up to 8 hours and lifting up to 50+ lbs
  • Ensure product freshness and process returns of unsaleable products
  • Increase sales volume by selling and building displays
  • Drive speed to market and distribution for new product releases
  • Suggest orders and selling programs to retailers
  • Prepare accurate and timely reports, recaps, timesheets, and expense reports

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED, or equivalent experience
  • Bachelor's Degree or 2 years of experience in retail, client, or food brokerage preferred
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
  • Basic computer skills: Word, Excel, Internet
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
