Job description

Yoplait Liberté Canada is looking for exceptional candidates for the position of Retail Sales Manager, based in Montreal. We are seeking a dynamic, passionate, and curious individual to work on the development and execution of our retail sales programs.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES :

SALES EXPERTISE AND LEADERSHIP

  • Lead and effectively execute retail sales priorities, including training, management, coaching, and providing support to the retail sales team.
  • Develop and communicate business strategies, display plans, new product execution, established distribution, shelf layout, and merchandising priorities to field sales representatives.
  • Collaborate with Account Managers to align "Go to Market" retail execution priorities with Yoplait Liberté’s priorities and specific account needs. Work with retail sales representatives, conduct in-store audits, and meet with account managers.
  • Lead, motivate, and develop Retail Sales Representatives to build an effective retail sales team.
  • Monitor and coach through one-on-one support, individual skill development plans and provide performance feedback.

HIGH-LEVEL EXECUTION

  • Ensure flawless execution through a strong action orientation, taking responsibility for results, and understanding customer needs.
  • Understand Yoplait Liberté’s consumers and customers.
  • Foster collaborative partnerships to achieve common goals and share essential in-store information within the Retail, Client, and cross-functional teams.
  • Collaborate and provide guidance to third parties to meet retail KPIs (Key Performance Indicators).
  • Work with the Retail Execution Manager on audits, point-of-sale (POS) materials, and in-store execution needs.
  • Manage retail commercial budgets to achieve established goals.

PROBLEM SOLVING & ANALYTICS

  • Analyze data to develop strategies and sales tactics for sales representatives to generate additional sales.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent ability to work in a team and build an inspiring, exciting, and energizing team.
  • Ability to manage in a dynamic and changing environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.).

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • University degree.
  • 5+ years of sales experience (Food industry experience is an asset).
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
