With over 50 retail stores across Canada, Urban Barn is a national retail chain offering high-quality furniture and home décor. We're currently looking for a passionate individual to join our team as a Part-Time Retail Sales Associate . You will represent Urban Barn by offering friendly service and product knowledge to help our customers create a space they love to call home. In collaborating with the store team and managers, you will provide our customers with the best shopping experience possible.

Our new store is set to open in early August, with all positions required to be available for training during the last week of July. We’re looking for candidates who can work a variety of shifts, including weekdays, evenings, and weekends.

What You Will Do :

  • Guide customers in their décor choices, suggesting the best products for their needs
  • Provide a warm greeting to every customer
  • Establish connections with customers to build customer loyalty
  • Carry out transactions (purchases, exchanges, and returns)
  • Maintain the visual standards and cleanliness of the store

What you Bring :

  • At least 2 years of Retail Sales experience
  • A passion for interior décor and merchandising
  • Ease of using technology such as a Point-of-Sale system and iPad
  • Flexible schedule to work a minimum of 3 days (12-20 hours) per week – including at least 1 weekend and 1 weekday daytime shift
  • The ability to lift and move loads up to 50 lbs / 23 kg
