Position Summary

The Silver Stem Fine Cannabis (SSFC) Retail Sales Associate Budtender is a crucial role, representing Silver Stem on the retail level and serving as the face of our brand. You will interact with patrons, guiding them to enjoy their experience, learn about our products and accessories, and encourage repeat visits. You will also help maintain store functionality, efficiency, and smooth operations among staff, vendors, and the corporate team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform all Front Desk Associate duties
• Handle patient intake (for dual-use and medical licensed locations)
• Greet and assist customers, vendors, and visitors following check-in protocols
• Maintain proper phone and email etiquette
• Know our Silver Seeds membership program and its benefits
• Understand our Primary Patient Program and its benefits
• Use SSFC's Point of Sale (POS) system, Flowhub, effectively
• Manage opening and closing procedures
• Handle cash transactions accurately and balance the register
• Keep the work environment clean and organized
• Add products into virtual shopping carts in the POS, adhering to sales limits
• Provide product recommendations and educate customers on cannabis products
• Follow all state and local regulations regarding cannabis sales
• Comply with SSFC policies and procedures
• Assist with daily store operations and inventory audits
• Maintain knowledge of security requirements

Essential Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Knowledge of cannabis strains and products
• Retail or customer service experience
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn new software
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Valid Employee Badge from Colorado Marijuana Enforcement Division before hire
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
• Ability to sit, stand, stoop, crouch, reach, and lift for extended periods
