Job description

Canna Caban is actively seeking part-time Sales Associates who are knowledgeable, responsible, hardworking, dedicated, and mature individuals interested in joining our team. Join us and become an important part of a company where the sky is the limit.

  1. Always greet customers as they enter the store.
  2. Manage login ID on Point of Sale (POS) terminal as required by Canna Cabana.
  3. Manage cash and product floats. Responsible for signing in and verifying floats of Cannabis at beginning and end of shifts.
  4. Create an educational and informative experience for all customers. In-house training will be provided.
  5. Recommend products including cannabis flower, seeds, and accessories to customers.
  6. Assist Store Manager with opening/closing procedures, following High Tide standard operating procedures.
  7. Report suspicious behaviors or abusive customers to management.
  8. Maintain store cleanliness and organization.
  9. ID customers as required by Cannabis Retail Store Handbook.
  10. Must have or be able to obtain CannaSell SK certification.
  11. Provide a copy of a clean Criminal Background Check prior to start date.
  12. Experience in sales and customer service preferred.
  13. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  14. Team player mentality.
  15. Basic mathematical skills.
  16. Attention to detail.
  17. Flexible to work any shift, including nights, holidays, and weekends, across various locations.
  18. Passion for cannabis and its derivatives.
  19. Desire to educate customers and community about cannabis benefits without providing medical advice.
