Skechers USA Canada Inc. is hiring a Sales Associate at our Grande Prairie location. You’ll greet customers, offer product recommendations, and help them find comfortable, quality footwear that fits their lifestyle.

This entry-level role includes cash handling, stocking, and keeping the store inviting. We provide on-the-job training, flexible scheduling, and opportunities to grow within the Skechers brand.

Qualifications

• Entry-level retail role focused on customer engagement.
• Experience in retail sales or cashier roles is a plus but not required.
• Must be able to lift and carry merchandise as needed.

Responsibilities

• Customer Service: Engage with customers to provide personalized advice on Skechers products, ensuring customers leave with the right choice.
• Retail Sales Goals: Contribute to store and individual sales goals, developing skills in retail sales and product offerings.
• Store Operations: Keep the store organized, restock shelves, and manage merchandise; comfortable with lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Cashier Duties: Process payments accurately and ensure a positive final impression.
• Product Knowledge: Stay informed on Skechers footwear, apparel, and accessories to boost sales.

COMPENSATION RATE

STARTING RATE: $20.00

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Customer Service: Engage with customers to provide personalized advice on Skechers products, making sure each customer walks away with the perfect choice. Exceptional customer service is our top priority.
• Retail Sales Goals: Actively contribute to achieving store and individual sales goals. As a Sales Associate, you’ll have the opportunity to develop your skills in retail sales and learn about our product offerings.
• Store Operations: Keep the store looking its best by organizing displays, restocking shelves, and managing merchandise. This role involves lifting and carrying shoes and boxes (occasional lifting up to 50 pounds) and staying on your feet throughout most of your shift.
• Cashier Duties: Handle cashier responsibilities, accurately processing payments, and ensuring customers leave with a great final impression.
• Product Knowledge: Stay informed on Skechers latest footwear, apparel, and accessories sharing product details to improve the customer experience and boost sales.
• Team Collaboration: Work alongside other employees to create an inviting store environment that reflects the Skechers brand and meets company standards.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
