Job Type: Temporary contract until June 2026

Pay: $20.92 / hr.

Customer Service Orientation
  • Serving our customers efficiently and courteously on the telephone and in person. Up-selling and cross-selling corporate products and services.
  • Handling customer complaints and inquiries. Problem solving.
  • Working to resolve problem shipments, equipment, and technology challenges.
  • Collaborating with Head Office, local management, drivers, warehousing staff, account managers, and other corporate partners to ensure excellent customer service.
  • Building positive relationships with customers, vendors, building tenants, and key contacts.
  • Assisting customers with shipping details and account challenges using technology.
  • Loading, scanning, logging, and calling resolution freight.
Responsibilities
  • Communicating positively with all stakeholders both orally and in writing. Listening actively to customers and partners.
  • Taking personal responsibility and accountability.
  • Ensuring compliance with all corporate policies, procedures, and safety standards.
  • Maintaining punctuality and attendance.
  • Living the Purolator values and representing them to customers and partners.
  • Focusing on customer service, relationship building, and problem-solving skills.
  • Utilizing technology effectively.
  • Possessing 3-12 months of customer service, retail, and POS system experience preferred.
  • Ability to lift 70 lbs and stand for 3-hour intervals.
  • Exhibiting professional communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Demonstrating personal responsibility, accountability, and attention to detail.
  • Experience working independently and in team environments is an asset.
