Description

Shift hours: Thursday and Friday 4pm-9pm; Saturday 8:45 AM - 4:15 PM

Pay-rate: $20.93 per hour

Responsibilities
  • Serving our customers in the most efficient and courteous manner on the telephone and in person. Up-selling and cross selling Corporate Products and Services
  • Handling customer complaints and inquiries; problem solving
  • Working to resolve problem shipments
  • Working to resolve equipment and technology challenges
  • Collaborating with Head Office, local management, drivers, warehousing staff, account managers and other corporate partners to ensure excellence in customer service
  • Relationship building with Head Office, local management, drivers, warehousing staff, account managers and other corporate partners
  • Building a positive relationship with customers and with key contacts, vendors, building tenants, etc.
  • Assisting customers with shipping details and account challenges
  • Loading, scanning, logging, and calling resolution related to freight
  • Cash reconciliation including deposits and key control
  • Effective communication
Qualifications
  • Positive communication with Head Office, local management, drivers, warehousing staff, account managers and other corporate partners; oral and written
  • Personal responsibility and accountability
  • Compliance with all corporate policies and procedures (including uniforms)
  • Adherence to all safety standards
  • Punctuality and dependable attendance
  • Living the Purolator values; representing Purolator values to customers and partners
  • Customer service orientation; ability to problem solve
  • Excellent relationship-building and teamwork skills; comfortable using technology
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven track record of personal responsibility and accountability, including attendance and attention to detail; able to work both independently and in a team
  • Experience with safety standards is an asset
