Looking for an opportunity to learn and grow within Purolator? This is your chance to help us deliver on our customers’ promises.

Description

Shift Schedule : Monday to Friday (varies between 9 AM to 7 PM), weekends availability preferred.

Total hours : 25 hours (flexibility required).

Access to a personal vehicle is preferred since the position requires working in 2 different locations.

Starting pay rate : $20.92 / hr.

Customer Service Orientation:

  • Serving our customers efficiently and courteously both on the telephone and in person. Up-selling and cross-selling corporate products and services.
  • Handling customer complaints and inquiries, problem solving.
  • Working to resolve problem shipments and equipment/technology challenges.
  • Collaborating with Head Office, local management, drivers, warehousing staff, account managers, and other corporate partners to ensure excellent customer service.
  • Building positive relationships with customers, vendors, tenants, and key contacts.
  • Assisting customers with shipping details and account challenges using technology.
  • Loading, scanning, logging, and resolving freight issues.
  • Cash reconciliation, including deposits and key control.
  • Effective communication with all stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Taking personal responsibility and accountability.
  • Adhering to all corporate policies, procedures, safety standards, and uniform requirements.

  • Focusing on customer service, relationship building, and technology use.
  • Possessing 3-12 months of customer service, retail, and POS system experience (preferred).
  • Ability to lift 70 lbs and stand for 3-hour intervals.
  • Exhibiting professional communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Demonstrating a proven track record of responsibility and attention to detail.
  • Experience working independently and in team environments is an asset.
