Position Overview

Commercial Property Manager, based at Place Longueuil, reporting to the Senior Director of Operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage vendor accounts, tenant billing, building‑related operating expenses, supplier invoicing and recurring payments.
• Oversee day‑to‑day operations of the buildings.
• Manage critical equipment and infrastructure.
• Oversee maintenance and repairs of equipment.
• Be accountable for building operations.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Prepare and manage operating budgets, monthly analysis reports and service contracts.
• Ensure proper functioning and maintenance of systems, equipment and buildings.
• Build strong tenant‑manager relationships to support smooth operations.
• Act as the primary point of contact for tenants, addressing all requests.
• Manage incidents, ensure compliance with company and industry standards and protocols, oversee safety and supervise building operations technicians.
• Provide consulting services on projects, investment planning and budgeting related to building operations.
• Ensure systems are maintained or upgraded according to industry best practices and manufacturer recommendations to prevent or quickly resolve system failures, thereby avoiding service interruptions and losses.
• Perform any other related duties.

Qualifications

• Hold a university degree (Bachelor’s level), preferably in engineering, urban planning or architecture, or possess equivalent experience.
• Have a minimum of six (6) years of experience in a similar role.
• Hold one of the following certifications: CFM, FMP or RPA.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong knowledge of Yardi software.
• Familiar with a CMMS and have participated in its implementation.
• Solid understanding of accounting and budgeting processes.
