Job summary

Lordco Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Planogram Specialist based in Port Coquitlam, BC. You will create, design and update store planograms, ensuring consistent product presentation across all locations and alignment with merchandising strategies.

You will collaborate with Merchandising, Purchasing, Operations, Store Managers and vendors, analyze sales trends, coordinate launches, and develop guides and SOPs for store teams.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in retail merchandising, category management, planogram development, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of retail operations and merchandising principles.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent organizational, project management, and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with planogram or retail space planning software is considered an asset.
  • Experience in automotive, hardware, retail, or warehouse distribution environments is preferred.
  • Post-secondary education in Business, Marketing, Merchandising, or a related field is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Create, Design and update, & maintain store planograms using retail space planning software or other tools.
  • Develop, maintain, and optimize store planograms that align with merchandising strategies and business objectives.
  • Coordinate new product launches, category resets, and seasonal merchandising rollouts.
  • Analyze sales trends, inventory movement, and category performance to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Create merchandising guides, training materials, implementation instructions, and SOPs for store teams.
  • Support stores with planogram implementation, troubleshooting, and execution best practices.
  • Monitor compliance through audits, reporting, and store feedback.
  • Collaborate with Purchasing, Operations, Store Managers, Regional Managers, and vendor partners to ensure successful execution of merchandising initiatives.
  • Recommend assortment, product placement, and space allocation improvements that enhance customer experience and drive sales growth.

Retail Planogram Specialist

Location: Port Coquitlam, BC (Head Office)

Position Summary

The Retail Planogram Specialist is responsible for developing, maintaining, and executing planograms that maximize sales, improve the customer shopping experience, and ensure consistent product presentation across all store locations. This role works closely with Merchandising, Purchasing, Operations, Store Managers, and vendors to ensure product assortments, fixtures, signage, and pricing are accurately represented and implemented.
