Job description

Store - TOR-BARRIE, ON

Build customer relationships while creating memorable framing solutions for their art. Help customers shop our store and find what they’re looking for. Provide a safe, clean, and clutter-free environment.

Major Activities

1. Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and company policies to ensure compliance with applicable laws and standards.
2. Use Elevated ABC Deliver as a personal designer to build relationships with customers and create custom framing solutions, while achieving sales and production results.
3. Complete framing orders with high quality and on time.
4. Maintain the ready-made frame department and other assigned areas, including SISO and directed replenishment.
5. Deliver friendly customer service: help customers shop, locate products, and find solutions; ensure the store is well merchandised and in-stock.
6. Follow SOPs and company programs, support shrink and safety initiatives.
7. Interact respectfully with others, remain positive even in difficult situations, promote the organization’s vision and values, and serve as a role model.
8. Participate in truck unload and stocking processes, following standards within budget.
9. Operate cash register and handle cash according to standards.
10. Acknowledge customers, assist in locating products, and provide solutions.
11. Assist with omni-channel processes.

Minimum Experience Required

• Basic computer skills and measuring skills.
• Ability to operate framing equipment and glass cutters.

Preferred Experience

• Retail experience.
• Experience selling products and services to customers.

Physical Requirements

• Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching.
• Ability to move throughout the store and remain standing for long periods.
• Lifting heavy boxes and frames, accessing high shelves with ladders or similar equipment.

Work Environment

• Public retail store setting with climate-controlled areas; some stock rooms may not be climate-controlled; outdoor work for tasks like retrieving shopping carts or unloading trucks; work hours include nights, weekends, and early mornings.
