About The Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) to join our team in Santa Rosa, CA. This role offers flexibility with the schedule, as the PIC will have the autonomy to create their own schedule while overseeing a well-established pharmacy team. You'll work alongside long-term, experienced pharmacy technicians in a supportive and collaborative environment, ensuring high standards of patient care and medication management.

Key Responsibilities

1. Oversee daily pharmacy operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
2. Manage medication dispensing, patient counseling, and inventory control
3. Supervise and provide guidance to pharmacy technicians
4. Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations
5. Maintain the pharmacy's adherence to organizational policies and best practices
6. Use McKesson Enterprise Rx (ERx) system for medication management
7. Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care

Qualifications

1. Degree in Pharmacy required (B.S. or PharmD)
2. Active California Pharmacist License required
3. Previous experience as a Pharmacist in Charge or in a leadership role is a plus
4. Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations and regulatory compliance
5. Familiarity with McKesson Enterprise Rx (ERx) or similar pharmacy software is preferred
