Job summary

Simplot Canada (II) Limited is seeking an Operations Support for our Pincher Creek, AB location. The role covers retail operations, forklift handling, yard maintenance, and safety compliance at the facility.

You will assist with loading/unloading, monitor inventory, and support the Location Manager to ensure excellent customer service. Additional agronomy support and participation in safety programs are included.

Qualifications

• A valid Canadian Class 5 driver's license; Class 1A is an asset but not required.
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Forklift, machinery operation and knowledge experience preferred.
• Must be able to read/write English.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Mechanical aptitude with the ability to operate, service, and troubleshoot machinery.
• Basic computer skills.
• Must be willing to work overtime as required to meet seasonal demands. Work schedule will include some weekend duties.

Responsibilities

• Assist with loading or unloading of supplier trucks at the chem shed and drive forklift as needed.
• Assist with unloading and directing trucks for fertilizer deliveries to fertilizer tanks.
• Follow established procedures for loading and receiving product and support Location Manager.
• Monitor inventory and complete Loadout Tickets and cash reports.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and participate in safety meetings.
• Operate equipment safely and perform general maintenance around the facility.
• Support agronomy team with soil sampling and field signing when required.
• Be an active contributor to Simplot Growers Solutions community activities and uphold company values.
