Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Operations team member to support backend functions critical to store accuracy and efficiency. This role focuses on inventory control, product recovery, receiving, store transfers, managing returns to vendors, and ordering.

Key Responsibilities

Inventory & Stock Management

  • Maintain and update inventory levels in the store’s backend system.
  • Conduct regular recovery counts and full inventory audits to ensure accuracy.
  • Investigate and correct negative stock balances and system mismatches.
  • Receive stock into the system and ensure all SKUs are properly entered and labeled.
  • Track and process stock transfers and returns
  • Perform accurate and timely data entry of shipments, returns, and adjustments.
  • Backend reports to support purchasing, stock control, and sales forecasting.

Loss Prevention & Operational Clean-Up

  • Investigate and resolve store negatives (e.g., shrinkage, incorrect inventory on hand).
  • Work with front-of-house teams to correct scanning, pricing, or POS-related errors.
  • Log discrepancies and escalate unresolved issues to management or corporate inventory teams.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in retail operations, inventory control, or stockroom roles.
  • Familiarity with inventory systems
  • Comfortable using spreadsheets, barcode scanners, and handheld inventory tools.
  • High attention to detail and excellent follow-through.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Physically able to lift, sort, and move inventory as needed.
