Job summary

Marketsupport Canada is seeking a Retail Merchandiser to service the Wetaskiwin, AB territory. This part-time role involves traveling to local retailers to perform merchandising tasks for national brands and to build strong store relationships.

You will use a reporting App to submit photos and feedback, coordinating territory plans and ensuring timely completion of assignments. A smartphone, valid license, and reliable vehicle are required.

Qualifications

• Available to work during business hours M-F approx. 8am - 6pm.
• Ability to manage a small local territory and complete all assignments.
• Can adapt to a variety of tasks to complete.
• Comfortable discussing, promoting and selling additional products.
• Smartphone/ computer savvy.
• Self-motivated, independent worker and a problem solver.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Professional demeanor and the ability to build positive relationships.

Responsibilities

• Travel to local retailers (grocery, drug, big box, home, hardware, gas, convenience) for merchandising assignments for national brands.
• Provide merchandising services: planograms, displays, stocking, installing POP, auditing.
• Take photos and provide feedback via reporting App.
• Complete all scheduled assignments efficiently and on time.
• Coordinate and map territory based on deadlines and efficiency.
• Develop and maintain relationships with store managers and staff.

What we are looking for in a candidate:

Requirements for the position:

• Access to smartphone or tablet (Android/ Apple) and home computer with Wi-Fi.
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable automobile.
• May be required to lift 15lbs and occasionally up to 50lbs.
• May occasionally require steel toe shoes.
• Retail merchandising experience is a plus.
