Job Description Summary:

Drive volume and increase visibility of products in accounts. Support sales teams in merchandising activities.

Territory: West of DVP to Oshawa (Durham Region), North to Richmond Hill, Markham.
Wage: $19 per hour + .72 cents/km reimbursement
Hours: 20 Hours per week, opportunity for more hours October- December.
Schedule: Monday to Friday (Days)

Valid driving license and insured personal vehicle required for this role.

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

  • Execute merchandising efforts in Retail outlets for all our products, general distribution and promotions/programs.
  • Develop effective business relationships with assigned customers
  • Provide management with specific and current information on competitive activity, market challenges and merchandising opportunities.
  • Execute sales driver objectives
  • Service and improve the marketability of our products through shelf management, display position and frequency, concept selling and price point management
  • Refresh displays and place POS
  • Coordinate timing of merchandising activities with sales teams and communicate merchandising tactics to customer
  • Continual development of industry, channel, and brand knowledge
  • Other duties, as assigned by the jobholder’s supervisor, may also be required

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 1 year working experience
  • Proficient MS Office skills
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Perform job duties in an accurate, proficient and timely manner
  • Attention to detail and ability to multi-task
  • Demonstrate sound judgment and problem solving skills
  • Rely on some instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • Knowledge of Liquor Board Regulations, market trends and competition
  • Must have fully insured, reliable and appropriate transportation
