Marketsupport Canada is seeking a Retail Merchandiser to service our Sudbury, ON territory (approx 15-25 hours per month).

As a Merchandiser for Marketsupport, your responsibilities include:

• Traveling to various local retailers (grocery, drug, big box, home, hardware, gas, convenience) to perform merchandising assignments for nationally recognized brands.
• Implementing planograms, building and maintaining displays, selling additional displays/products, installing point-of-purchase materials, stocking and tidying shelves, and conducting audits.
• Taking pictures and providing detailed feedback through our reporting app.
• Completing all assignments efficiently, accurately, and on time.
• Mapping out your territory based on deadlines and efficiency.
• Developing and maintaining strong relationships with store managers and staff.

Candidate Requirements:

• Availability during daytime hours, Monday to Friday, approximately 8 am - 6 pm.
• Ability to manage a small local territory and complete all assignments.
• Flexibility to handle diverse tasks.
• Comfort discussing, promoting, and selling additional products.
• Ability to communicate effectively with store managers regarding replenishments and orders.
• Smartphone/computer savvy.
• Self-motivated, independent, and a problem solver.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Professional demeanor and good relationship-building skills.

Position Requirements:

• Access to a smartphone or tablet (Android or Apple) and a home computer with Wi-Fi.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
• Ability to lift up to 15 lbs regularly and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
• Steel toe shoes may be required occasionally.
• Retail merchandising experience is a plus.
