Marketsupport Canada is seeking a Retail Merchandiser to service our Smiths Falls, Carleton Place, Kemptville, and Perth, ON territory (approximately 8 to 20 hours a month of work).

As a Merchandiser for Marketsupport, you will:

• Travel to various local retailers (grocery, drug, big box, home, hardware, gas, convenience) to perform merchandising assignments for nationally recognized brands.
• Provide merchandising services, such as implementing planograms, building/maintaining displays, selling additional displays/products, installing POP, stocking/tidying shelves, and auditing.
• Take pictures and provide detailed feedback through our reporting app.
• Complete all scheduled assignments efficiently, accurately, and on time.
• Coordinate and map out your territory based on deadlines and efficiency.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with store managers and staff.

What we are looking for in a candidate:

• Availability during daytime hours (Monday to Friday, approximately 8 am - 6 pm).
• Ability to manage a small local territory and complete all assignments.
• Adaptability and ability to handle diverse tasks.
• Comfort discussing, promoting, and selling additional products.
• Ability to speak with managers to replenish stock and take orders.
• Smartphone/computer savvy.
• Self-motivated, independent, and a problem solver.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Professional demeanor and relationship-building skills.

Requirements for the position:

• Access to a smartphone or tablet (Android or Apple) and home computer with Wi-Fi.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
• Ability to lift up to 15 lbs regularly and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
• Occasional use of steel-toe shoes may be required.
• Retail merchandising experience is a plus.
