MarketsupportCanada is currently looking for a Part-time Retail Merchandiser to service our North Bay, ON territory (approximately 15 to 20 hours a month of work).

As a Merchandiser for Marketsupport, you will:

  • Travel to various local retailers (grocery, drug, big box, home, hardware, gas, convenience) to perform merchandising assignments for nationally recognized brands.
  • Provide merchandising services, such as implementing planograms, building and maintaining displays, selling-in additional displays/products, installing POP, stocking and tidying shelves.
  • Take pictures and provide detailed and constructive feedback through our reporting app, including auditing tasks.
  • Complete all scheduled assignments efficiently, accurately, and on time.
  • Coordinate your territory based on deadlines and efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with store managers and staff.

What we are looking for in a candidate:

  • Available to work during daytime hours, Monday to Friday (approximately 8 am - 6 pm).
  • Ability to manage a small local territory and be dedicated to completing all assignments.
  • Adaptable and able to handle a diversity of tasks.
  • Comfortable discussing, promoting, and selling additional products.
  • Confident in speaking with store managers to fulfill order replenishment for specific clients.
  • Smartphone and computer savvy.
  • Self-motivated, independent, and a problem solver.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Professional demeanor with the ability to build positive relationships.

Requirements for the position:

  • Access to a smartphone or tablet (Android or Apple) and a home computer with Wi-Fi.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable automobile.
  • Ability to lift up to 15 lbs regularly and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
  • Steel toe shoes may be required occasionally.
  • Retail merchandising experience is a plus.
