Marketsupport Canada is seeking a Retail Merchandiser to service our Delta, White Rock/Tsawwassen BC territory (10 to 20 hours a month).

As a Merchandiser for Marketsupport, you will:

  • Travel to various local retailers (grocery, drug, big box, home, hardware, gas, convenience) to perform merchandising assignments for nationally recognized brands.
  • Educate clerks on government legislation for plain packaging tobacco products.
  • Provide merchandising services, such as implementing planograms, building/maintaining displays, selling-in additional displays/products, installing POP, stocking/tidying shelves, auditing, etc.
  • Take pictures and provide detailed and constructive feedback through our reporting app.
  • Complete all scheduled assignments efficiently, accurately, and on time.
  • Coordinate and map out your territory based on deadlines and efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with store managers and staff.

What we are looking for in a candidate:

  • Available to work during daytime hours, Monday to Friday, approximately 8 am - 6 pm.
  • Ability to manage a small local territory and complete all assignments.
  • Adaptability and ability to handle diverse tasks.
  • Comfort discussing, promoting, and selling additional products.
  • Smartphone/computer savvy.
  • Self-motivated, independent, and a problem solver.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Professional demeanor and ability to build positive relationships.

Requirements for the position:

  • Access to a smartphone or tablet (Android/Apple) and a home computer with Wi-Fi.
  • Valid Driver’s License and reliable automobile.
  • May be required to lift 15 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
  • Occasional use of steel toe shoes.
  • Retail merchandising experience is a plus.
