Job Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with FSD - Hiring, Layoffs, Terminations.
  • Coordinate with FSD to meet targets (Revenue, Food, Labour for all locations).
  • Manage / Train / follow-up with all Supervisors.
  • Manage the training schedule for upcoming promotions.
  • Coordinate with Supervisors to ensure Food Safety / REV Standards are compliance.
  • Ensure accurate procedures for opening and closing the store, including accountability of cash and credit cards, and security requirements.
  • Verify accountability reports of financial transactions, including sales and transfers of merchandise.
  • Maintain safety standards at the location.
  • Handle staff questions / concerns – and work with FSD for disciplinary actions.
  • Resolve customer complaints.
  • Coordinate with franchise district managers for training or promotions.
  • Ensure development and training of customer service programs and product knowledge.
  • Lead periodic inventories and address discrepancies.
  • Maintain proper payroll procedures.
  • Ensure quality service to guests.
  • Maintain effective client and customer rapport.
  • Resolve operational issues daily.
  • Other duties as assigned by Food Service Director.

Qualifications

  • Requires 2-4 years of experience or equivalent education and experience.
  • Experience with Tim Horton’s or Starbucks preferred.
  • Excel at task delegation and work planning.
  • Able to organize, review, and compose daily financial reports.
  • Manage operational standards and team members.
  • Experience in scheduling, staff positioning, & conflict resolution.
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office and POS systems.
  • Profit and loss (P&L) accountability and/or contract-managed service experience preferred.
  • Previous experience in Quick Service, Clearview (TIMS systems) an asset.
  • Friendly, outgoing, positive attitude.
  • Previous management experience required.
  • Food Safe certification preferred; assistance available if needed.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Education: Associates preferred.

Salary range: $60,000-$70,000 CAD.
