Retail Lease Coordinator (9 month contract)

Primaris REIT is seeking a dedicated Retail Lease Coordinator to join our Toronto, ON Head Office team. This role is ideal for candidates with basic accounting and administrative skills, knowledge of real estate leases, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Role and Responsibilities
  • Manage administration of signed documents, ensuring accurate billing and data entry into Yardi
  • Assist with lease documentation setup for new properties
  • Establish and maintain standards, guidelines, and procedures for lease information input
  • Maintain and review lease data for accuracy and integrity
  • Support lease audits and manage tenant recovery templates
  • Contribute to budgeting and liaise with internal teams
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree or College Diploma in Business, Real Estate, or related field (preferred)
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles
  • Knowledge of retail/commercial leases (asset)
  • Experience with ERP systems (Yardi) and MS Office, especially Excel
  • Strong customer service and organizational skills
  • Proactive problem-solving abilities
