Job description

Brandt is seeking a motivated and experienced Retail Finance Manager to oversee the development and execution of retail financing initiatives. In this role, you will work closely with customers, sales teams, and financial institutions to offer attractive and competitive financing options that support the acquisition of heavy equipment. You will be instrumental in ensuring that our financing solutions meet customer needs while driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities

1. Assist sales staff by obtaining financing to support wholegoods sales
2. Build relationships with customers and sales staff
3. Market value-added products to our customers
4. Generate interested referral income
5. Submit weekly activity reports
6. Prospect potential financing needs for our customers, including non-Brandt Tractor product financing needs
7. Willingness to travel throughout the designated territory
8. Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Skills

• Fluency in English and French is essential, with strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong understanding of financial products such as loans, leases, and vendor financing
• Proven experience in B2B sales or outside sales
• Business development skills with the capacity to generate leads through customer prospecting
• Ability to drive profitability through effective financing strategies and customer relationships
• Relationship-building skills
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Team player with attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to multitask
