Base pay range

CA$70,000.00/yr - CA$97,000.00/yr

Department: Commercial – Store Development

Reports to: Retail Facilities Manager, North America

Your Opportunity at ARC’TERYX:

As the Retail Facilities Specialist, you will be responsible for the efficient execution of emergency and non-emergency repairs, maintenance services, and minor projects within established budgets, procedures, and timelines. You will leverage your knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems to analyze proposals and ensure scopes and costs are appropriate. You will manage service requests in partnership with our vendor network and store teams through ServiceChannel, handling invoicing review, payments, user management, and reporting as needed.

This role is based out of our North Vancouver office with a hybrid work arrangement. Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada.

Meet Your Future Team:

Your role on the Store Development team is crucial to our growth and business objectives. The team leads store expansion, design evolution, and maintenance of our current locations. You will collaborate with team members and cross-functional partners across the company.

Core Responsibilities:
  • Facilitating Arc'teryx’s preventative maintenance program for stores
  • Executing store refresh and minor improvements across North America
  • Managing setup and decommissioning of store utilities and ongoing services
  • Building and maintaining relationships with facilities partners
  • Supporting administrative tasks within our IFM program (ServiceChannel)
  • Traveling quarterly to major markets in North America to assess store needs
  • Communicating standards and procedures with the training team
  • Ensuring safety and security compliance
  • Partnering with cross-functional teams on projects and initiatives
  • Providing support to the Store Development team as needed
  • Monitoring and executing emergency services outside regular hours
Future Projects:
  • Launching a North American-wide preventative maintenance program
  • Establishing in-store maintenance best practices
  • Collaborating with regional retail teams to enhance guest and staff experience
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree or post-secondary education in business, operations, or project management
  • 3+ years of experience in facilities management
  • Exceptional organization, attention to detail, and accuracy
  • Ability to travel 25% within North America
  • Approachable, customer-service oriented attitude
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong project management skills
  • Flexible and adaptable to ambiguity
  • Passion for outdoor activities and the work you do
