JOB DESCRIPTION

James Free Jewelers, located in Montgomery, is seeking a talented Custom Jewelry Designer to join our growing Creative team.

Responsibilities include:

Collaborating with sales associates and customers to develop jewelry designs and specifications for production.
Creating unique, one-of-a-kind jewelry pieces based on customer input, utilizing the latest technology. Strong sketching skills and CAD knowledge are required.
Expressing creativity through jewelry design, especially if you are a good listener and passionate about design.

Qualifications:

Proficiency in digital jewelry design and experience in jewelry design is essential.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree (BA, BFA) in Graphic Design or related field.
Experience with fashion, accessories, jewelry, or beauty industries is a plus.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating proactivity, motivation, dedication, and initiative.
Proven ability to meet strict deadlines.
Self-motivated, team-oriented, and able to troubleshoot and follow directions.
Technical skills: Advanced proficiency in Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator.
Strong internal motivation, ambition, and the ability to work efficiently on high-level projects.
