Aesop Toronto Eaton Centre is seeking a part-time Retail Consultant to welcome customers, listen to their needs and guide them toward products that suit them. You will participate in creating an engaging shopping environment and deliver a highly personalized experience that reflects our brand.

The role requires energy to work weekends and holidays, strong communication and teamwork, and a genuine interest in skincare.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer service role or environment.
• Effective selling skills and ability to drive commercial outcomes.
• Ability to introduce Aesop products through hand demonstrations.
• History of contributing to a team.
• Empathy to manage relationships and foster inclusion.
• Open mindset and curiosity to understand others and listen without judgement.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of skincare and skin care industry advantageous.
• Knowledge of hair, body care, fragrance and home categories advantageous.
• Available for at least 3 full days, including weekends, with evenings/weekends/holidays flexibility.

As a Retail Consultant, you embody our desire to engage, listen and guide customers to products that are relevant to them. You will welcome customers into our spaces and through intentional interactions deepen the way our products are experienced. In demonstrating products that address customer needs you will deliver an exceptional, inclusive customer experience that contributes to our overall commercial success.

What we are looking for

• Experience operating within a customer service role or environment.
• Effective selling skills and the ability to drive commercial outcomes.
• Ability to consistently introduce Aesop products to clients through hand demonstrations.
• History of successfully participating in and contributing to a team
• Demonstrated ability to utilise empathy to manage interpersonal relationships and contribute to a positive and inclusive experience for all.
• Open mindset and deep curiosity seeking to understand others, listen without judgement and act on diverse perspectives.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Working knowledge of skin care and skin care industry (advantageous)
• Knowledge of hair care, body care, fragrance, and home categories (advantageous)
• Successful applicants will be available for at least 3 full days, including weekends. Candidates must have flexibility to work a retail schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
