Job summary

Imperial Dade in Lanaudière, QC, is seeking a customer-focused team member for in-store support. You will respond to customer requests, provide product guidance on cleaning chemicals and housekeeping supplies, and handle cash register transactions.

Working in a fast-paced retail environment, you will help merchandise placement, assist with stock, and support safety and store maintenance while learning about our broad range of products.

Qualifications

• Bilingual (French and English) is required in this role.
• Knowledge or interest in housekeeping and building management products.
• Strong customer service and sales skills.
• Good physical condition and ability to stand for long periods.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and willingness to learn.
• Basic computer skills for register and inventory tasks.

• Respond to customer requests and provide personalized advice on our various cleaning chemicals, housekeeping accessories, motorized equipment (vacuum cleaners, auto-scrubbers, etc.) and consumables (hand paper, toilet paper, garbage bags, etc.);
• Operate the cash register and record transactions;
• Receive, check and place merchandise according to planograms;
• Participate in store maintenance and cleaning;
• Contribute to compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

• Bilingual (French and English). The employee must be able to communicate with head office, external vendors, suppliers, etc.
• Knowledge of or interest in various products, services and procedures related to housekeeping and building management;
• Customer service and sales skills;
