Do you enjoy working in a customer-focused environment to ensure cleanliness? Do you love working as part of a team to produce sparkling results for customers?

At Arcus, cleaners are a vital part of our company, and we are looking to recruit 2 part-time In-store Cleaners based in Sainsbury's Hamilton store on a permanent basis. Role 1 is 15 hours and Role 2 is 15 hours per week, with an hourly rate of £12.21.

Immediate start is available.

Sainsbury’s stores are open 7 days a week, and at Arcus, we offer various shift patterns with 5 and 6 day working options. Our shift patterns include early morning, morning, afternoon, and evening shifts, with weekend work. The current shift pattern for this role is:

Role 1 - 15 hours

• Sunday: 14:00 - 17:00
• Monday: 14:00 - 17:00
• Tuesday: Day off
• Wednesday: Day off
• Thursday: 14:00 - 17:00
• Friday: 14:00 - 17:00
• Saturday: 14:00 - 17:00

Role 2

• Sunday: 16:00 - 20:00
• Monday: 16:00 - 20:00
• Tuesday: Day off
• Wednesday: Day off
• Thursday: Day off
• Friday: 16:00 - 19:00
• Saturday: 16:00 - 20:00

You will also have opportunities to increase your hours through overtime.

Arcus cleaners take pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness to keep Sainsbury’s supermarkets safe and welcoming for customers. Tasks include, but are not limited to:

• Operating machinery
• Thorough cleaning activities such as mopping, vacuuming, wiping, and sweeping
• Cleaning toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows, or oven canopies
• Cleaning outside trolley bays, removing leaves and debris
• Ensuring all health and safety procedures are followed

Arcus will support you with full training.

What will you need?

Previous cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential, as on-the-job training will be provided.

An eye for detail and cleanliness

A positive attitude towards cleaning and customer service
