Job summary

Mark’s is seeking a Back of House Associate in Winnipeg to help fulfill customer orders, keep a clean stockroom, and assist shoppers with inquiries.

The role demands organization, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a dynamic retail environment. Lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for long periods are required; prior shipper/receiver experience is a plus. Competitive pay and benefits are offered.

Job Description

As a Back of House Associate, you are organized, have strong attention to detail, and can adapt to a constantly changing workload. You will ensure that orders are fulfilled while maintaining a clean stockroom and helping our customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure customer orders are filled in a timely manner following quality standards
• Ensure all loss prevention and shipping policies are maintained and followed
• Review DOM reports with store management
• Maintain stockroom(s) and shipping receiving area to Mark’s standard
• Assist customers with general inquiries

Required Skills and Knowledge

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Able to stand for long periods
• High energy, enthusiastic and a drive to succeed
• 3 to 6 months of experience working as a retail shipper/receiver (Merchandiser, Stock Clerk, etc.) is a nice to have

Our typical hiring range is between $16.00 and $20.00 per hour. Salary decisions are also dependent on other factors such as your experience, job-related knowledge, skills and competencies, store size and market location, industry benchmarks, internal equity and other role-specific requirements.
