A leading winery is expanding its retail staff in a dynamic environment. The role involves engaging guests as the first point of contact, managing cash, and assisting the winery team. Ideal candidates will have a passion for customer service and enjoy working in a collaborative team setting.
Trail Estate Winery is looking to expand our retail staff! We are committed to providing a welcoming, and energetic environment for guests. Our mission is to grow and create wines that are exceptional. We want someone who is able to share this passion with our guests.
• First point of contact for guests.
• High level understanding of the POS system, money handling.
• Maintaining general organization, and cleanliness.
• Support winery team as required, retail, glassware, inventory, etc.
• Wine knowledge is an asset but not essential for this role.
• Embrace a hands-on role (we are a small team so pitching in is required).
• Own Transportation: Must have reliable transportation to and from the winery.
• Wine Knowledge: Previous experience or an interest in the wine industry is preferred.
• Physical Strength: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Customer Service Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Team Player: Capable of working collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
• Trainings: Must have valid smart serve in Ontario to be able to serve wine.
• Schedule: Flexible but must be able to work most weekends.
