Compensation: $19 - $24 per hour

416 Tactical is hiring a Retail Associate to assist customers in our retail store, online, and over the phone. This role involves processing transactions, providing product recommendations, handling inquiries, and maintaining high standards of service. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service by assisting in-store customers with purchases, product inquiries, and technical support

• Process transactions including purchases, returns, and quotations for both individual customers and agencies

• Conduct ballistic vest measurements for police officers and law enforcement personnel

• Utilize Microsoft Excel, Word, and Shopify point-of-sale system to manage sales and order processing

• Maintain and respond to customer service emails and inquiries daily

• Curate and create social media posts for product promotions, sales, and general company updates

• Support the retail team by assisting with receiving orders and inventory control

• Be flexible with work shifts, including weekends and evenings, to accommodate retail hours

Qualifications and Requirements

• Previous experience in retail, customer service, or administrative support

• Strong communication skills and a customer-first mindset

• Experience with customs brokerage, importing/exporting, or familiarity with the CBSA CARM portal is considered an asset.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word, and experience with Shopify or other point-of-sale systems preferred

• Familiarity with tactical gear, law enforcement, or military products is a plus

• Must be a team player who thrives in a collaborative environment

• Must not have a criminal record for which a pardon has not been granted and must be able to pass a police background check
