Job summary

Kibbi Technologies Inc. in Fredericton NB is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support daily retail operations, drive customer satisfaction, and achieve sales goals while acting as Manager on Duty in the Store Manager's absence.

You will assist with staff management, merchandising, stock, and training; oversee cash handling, and opening/closing duties; and ensure safety, cleanliness, and visual standards. This role offers a competitive compensation package and opportunities for development.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two (2) years of retail experience.
• At least two (2) years in a supervisory or management role.
• Open availability (day, evening, weekend).
• Strong leadership, communication, and decision‑making skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast‑paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the Store Manager with operations and staff management.
• Helping with merchandising, stocking, and unpacking daily shipments.
• Providing exceptional customer service and resolving escalated issues.
• Training, coaching, and developing employees.
• Performing cash management, store opening and closing duties as needed.
• Assigning tasks to the team and ensuring store safety and cleanliness.
• Conducting regular performance evaluations and providing feedback.
• Ensuring adherence to company policies and safety standards.
