Our client in East Saskatoon is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to work closely with the Store Manager in this retail footwear store.

Responsibilities
  1. Assist the Store Manager in all aspects of daily operations, sales performance, and team management.
  2. Help achieve and exceed sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) through effective team coaching and merchandising.
  3. Provide outstanding customer service, resolve customer inquiries, and ensure every shopper has a positive experience.
  4. Support the training and coaching of sales associates, fostering a positive and productive team environment.
  5. Assist with inventory management, visual merchandising, cash handling, and ensuring the store maintains a clean, organized, and inviting appearance.
  6. Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
Qualifications
  1. A strong desire to grow into a leadership role, with natural coaching and mentoring abilities.
  2. Strong communication skills in written, verbal, and interpersonal forms.
  3. Sales skills and a proven ability to meet retail targets.
  4. Visual merchandising experience is a plus.
  5. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  6. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  7. Ability to lift and carry up to 25-50 pounds.
  8. Ability to climb ladders and stoop, kneel, or crouch.
