Job Summary:
As the Assistant Store Manager, you’ll play a critical supporting role in the successful execution of the Minecraft merchandise pop-up store. Working closely with the Store Manager, you’ll help oversee day-to-day retail operations, provide hands-on leadership to the sales team, and ensure a smooth, customer-focused experience on the ground.
This role is perfect for someone with retail or event leadership experience who thrives in fast-paced environments, is solution-oriented, and has a strong understanding of customer service excellence.
Job Title: Assistant Store Manager – Minecraft Experience
Location: Square One Shopping Centre
Schedule: June–September 2025 (12 weeks) | Must be available 30–40 hours/week
Shift Structure: 5–7 hour shifts, 6 days/week
Responsibilities:
Provide on-floor leadership and support to staff
Ensure proper POS functionality and assist with tech issues
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with restocking team
Resolve guest concerns professionally and promptly
Assist with staff scheduling and daily recaps
Skills and Qualifications:
1–2 years of experience in a team lead, keyholder, or assistant manager role (retail or event experience preferred)
Strong organizational and leadership skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Comfortable working with POS systems (Square or similar)
Solution-oriented and calm under pressure
Available to work 30–40 hours/week for the full program duration
Physically able to assist with store setup, teardown, and inventory handling
