Job summary

Bass Pro Shops Delta is seeking an experienced Asset Protection Manager to safeguard people, property, and information across the store. You will lead the asset protection function to reduce shrink and improve profitability through risk-based processes, training, and audits.

Responsibilities include investigating internal and external incidents, coordinating with law enforcement, and partnering with inventory control to curb losses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in criminology, business administration, or related discipline preferred.
• 2–4 years of experience in a retail asset protection role.
• Possess or be eligible to acquire restricted and non-restricted Firearm Possession and Acquisition License (PAL).
• Possess or be eligible to acquire provincial Security Guard License.
• Certification in Wicklander Zulawski Investigative Interviewing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, analyze, evaluate, and lead the asset protection function to reduce shrink and improve profitability.
• Identify operational gaps and training opportunities impacting profit loss.
• Audit store compliance with asset protection programs and procedures.
• Lead investigations of criminal activity to reduce theft and fraud exposure.
• Collaborate with inventory control to mitigate losses and improve controls.
• Build partnerships with regulatory agencies, police, and store teams to enhance operations.
