Kindred Hospital Ontario, part of Lifepoint Health, seeks a Restorative Aide to support restorative nursing under supervision and assist patients transitioning from rehabilitation or needing supplemental care. The goal is to promote independent, safe functioning and enhance overall well-being.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, BLS certification, and basic computer skills, with six months of related experience preferred. Full-time position with benefits is available.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience: Six months in rehab tech or restorative nursing preferred.
• Certifications: BLS certification required.
• Skills: Competence with basic computer and technology systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform restorative nursing interventions to support patients in reaching maximum functional potential.
• Report patient responses and condition changes to the supervising nurse or therapist.
• Participate in quality management and safety committee activities.
• Assist in collecting quality review data and survey preparation.
• Support cost-effective care delivery and interdisciplinary group activities.
• Engage in continuing education and professional development.
• Demonstrate professional behavior in interactions with patients, families, and colleagues.
• Adhere to standards of professional organizations and internal policies.
• Contribute to client relations and marketing efforts.
• Maintain clinical competency and participate in team meetings.
• Support administrative and clinical efficiency initiatives.
