Job summary

First Onsite Restoration is seeking a Restoration Technician I to learn the basics of disaster property restoration. Youll set up drying and restoration equipment, remove damaged materials, and assist with water extraction and cleanup under supervision.

This role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and reliability, with opportunities to grow across Canada and benefits including health and dental coverage and RRSP matching.

Qualifications

  • 6 months of experience in restoration, construction, or a related field (cleaning or emergency services experience an asset).
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn new techniques and equipment.
  • Proficient in using mobile devices and relevant applications.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Effective communication skills with coworkers, supervisors, and customers.
  • Valid full class driver's license and clear driver's abstract depending
  • Fit test and other safety certifications.
  • Water Remediation Technician (WRT) certification an asset.
  • Forklift certification is an asset.
  • Includes participation in a rotating on-call schedule.
  • Ability to complete work activities that may involve material handling, lifting, climbing, and the use of personal protective equipment including respirators, safety footwear, and other required gear.

Responsibilities

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A RESTORATION TECHNICIAN
