Job summary

First Onsite Property Restoration in Dorval, QC seeks a Restoration Technician (Internally Restoration Technician I) to learn water and fire restoration, operate industry tools, and join a hands-on frontline team.

You will work alongside experienced technicians, follow safety standards, and contribute to restoring spaces for clients across Canada. This role includes on-call rotation and opportunities to grow within the company.

Qualifications

• 6 months of experience in restoration, construction, or a related field (cleaning or emergency services experience an asset)
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn new techniques and equipment
• Proficient in using mobile devices and relevant applications
• Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
• Effective communication skills with coworkers, supervisors, and customers
• Valid full class driver's license and clear driver's abstract depending
• Fit test and other safety certifications
• Water Remediation Technician (WRT) certification an asset
• Forklift certification is an asset
• Includes participation in a rotating on-call schedule
• Ability to complete work activities that may involve material handling, lifting, climbing, and the use of PPE including respirators, safety footwear, and other required gear

Responsibilities

• Set up drying and restoration equipment and prepare work areas for repair
• Assist with water extraction, removal of damaged materials, and cleanup
• Work alongside experienced technicians to learn industry standards and safety protocols
• Support team to keep projects moving smoothly and ensure client satisfaction

You'll assist with water extraction, demolition, and cleanup while learning to follow industry standards and safety protocols. Working side by side with experienced technicians, you'll see how teamwork and attention to detail turn damaged spaces into safe, restored environments. Your initiative and reliability keep every project moving smoothly and every client feeling supported.
