Job Opportunity: Restaurant Worker

We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Restaurant Workers in the Nutrition and Food Services department at Nova Scotia Health.

Position Details:

As a Restaurant Worker, you will support the efficient operation of our healthcare facilities and contribute to patient care by assembling menu items, processing payments, stocking, cleaning, and merchandising, all while practicing safe food handling and following departmental standards.

Qualifications:

• Grade 12 or equivalent
• Customer service skills
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Previous food/restaurant experience preferred
• Cash handling experience preferred
• Proficiency in other languages, especially French, is an asset

Hours and Compensation:

• Hourly wages: $20.13 - $21.69
• 11% in lieu of benefits and vacation
• Shifts include day, evening, night, weekends, and holidays
