We are seeking a Restaurant Supervisor to join our Restaurant Management Team at Riverbend Inn and Vineyard. Reporting into the Restaurant Manager, the Restaurant Supervisor will be responsible for assisting in all front-of-house food and beverage operations at the Property with the goal of ensuring high quality dining experiences and achievement of business and financial objectives. This position involves weekend work.

We are looking for a teammate with:

  • Supervisory experience in a fine dining restaurant environment.
  • Post-secondary studies in Hospitality a definite asset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience in group training and coaching.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends when required.

This teammate will be accountable for:

  • Assisting with upholding the property's standards of service amongst the team.
  • Assisting with team member training and coaching.
  • Assisting with the development of merchandising programs that support brand building activities.
  • Ensuring accuracy of all administration activities during pre-shift, clock-in, shift-reads, and closing duties.
  • Assisting with the execution of budgets and expenses.
  • Promotes a health & safety culture by ensuring a safe and healthy work environment through effective operation of the Health and Safety program, joint H&S committee (if applicable) and compliance with EH&S regulations.
