Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years
Work setting: Restaurant
Responsibilities:

  1. Establish methods to meet work schedules
  2. Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
  3. Estimate and order ingredients and supplies
  4. Hire food service staff
  5. Ensure food service and quality control
  6. Address customers’ complaints or concerns
  7. Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
  8. Prepare and submit reports
  9. Prepare food order summaries for chef
  10. Supervise and check assembly of trays
  11. Supervise and check delivery of food trolleys
  12. Establish work schedules

Supervision: 3-4 people
