Job summary

JRoss Hospitality Recruiters is assisting a client launching its first Canadian flagship location and seeking a General Manager to build the business from the ground up. The role demands hands-on leadership, entrepreneurial drive, and a focus on people, processes, and profitability.

You will oversee opening processes, team development, and daily operations, with a path toward multi-unit leadership as the brand expands, including training in Scottsdale, AZ.

Qualifications

  • 2–5 years of leadership experience in QSR, fast casual, hospitality, or similar customer‑focused environment.
  • Experience leading at least three new store openings is strongly preferred.
  • Proven ability to recruit, train, coach, and develop successful teams.
  • Strong understanding of KPIs, labour management, inventory control, and financial performance.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive sales while maintaining operational excellence.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to take ownership and make sound business decisions.
  • Passion for hospitality, health, wellness, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Willingness to complete two weeks of paid training in Scottsdale, Arizona.
  • A strong hospitality network and experience building teams is considered an asset.

  • Build strong relationships within the local community and support grassroots marketing initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to improve systems, processes, and operational efficiencies.
  • Partner with the founders to shape the business as it grows.
  • Support future store openings and mentor future leaders within the organization.

Our client is launching its first Canadian location, and we are looking for an exceptional General Manager to help build the business from the ground up. As the first leader of the Canadian flagship location, you will work closely with the owners to establish operational standards, build a strong team culture, and create the foundation for future growth. Salary range is $65,000-$75,000
