Position Overview :

The Jasper Inn & Suites INN Grill Restaurant Manager manages all front of house food and beverage operations, ensuring an excellent guest experience.

Job Responsibilities :

  • Managing and leading your team at this property, you will be empowered to embrace the following duties :
  • Day-to-day operations :
  • Utilize business acumen to develop and implement strategic plans and operational goals to create an exciting and current dining experience.
  • Lead and guide the Food & Beverage service team to drive results.
  • Execute banquets with the Sales Manager and Executive Chef, including set up and service.
  • Monitor operations to ensure full compliance with hotel operating controls, SOPs, policies, procedures, and service standards.
  • Comply with all Government regulations, being a champion for a safe work environment.
  • Leading a successful team :
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and effective communication among departments.
  • Provide coaching, training, and guidance to the team.
  • Oversee the recruitment, selection, and onboarding process for the service roles.
  • Ensure guest satisfaction is a top priority, with all staff consistently delivering exceptional service.
  • Address complaints with a personal touch to restore customer satisfaction.
  • Handling financial responsibilities :
  • Managing budgets, schedules, and controlling expenditure.
  • Tracking revenues, setting sales targets, and optimizing profits.
  • Working with the Marketing team to manage the hotel’s food and beverage online presence.

Qualifications :

  • Proven experience in hotel food and beverage operations management, with a minimum of 3 years in a managerial role within a 3+ star property.
  • Strong knowledge of food and wine pairings.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Current certification in ProServe is required.
