Summary
Oversee the daily operations of the fine dining steak and seafood restaurant, ensuring a seamless and exceptional guest experience. Foster a culture of ongoing training and communication, while actively supporting the professional growth and development of all staff members.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Supervise 14 employees in the restaurant, overseeing maintenance, cleanliness, and operations. Responsibilities include hiring, training, performance evaluation, and addressing employee concerns. Conduct monthly beverage inventory and update daily variances.
Qualifications
Must perform all duties satisfactorily with or without accommodations. Strong problem resolution, employee and guest relations skills required. Fine dining experience essential. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and OpenTable required.
Experience and/or Education
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Minimum three years of fine dining management experience in a high-volume restaurant. Strong wine knowledge required.
Age Requirement
Must be at least 21 years old.
Language Skills
Ability to interpret safety and operational documents, write reports, and communicate effectively with groups.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to handle probability, statistics, geometry, trigonometry, fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions in practical situations.
Reasoning Ability
Apply common sense to follow instructions and solve problems involving multiple variables.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Physical Demands
Regularly stand, walk, handle objects, reach, talk, hear, taste, and smell. Occasionally sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Frequently lift up to 25-100 pounds. Vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
Work Environment
Occasional exposure to humid conditions, moving parts, high places, tobacco smoke, fumes, outdoor weather, and noise. Noise level usually moderate.
