Baci Ristorante, located in the C Hotel by Carmens, is a modern and upbeat Italian restaurant. YOU WOULD HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

  • Create a memorable guest experience, including menu execution, food quality, and overall experience, and gather guest feedback.
  • Supervise and coach all service team members, demonstrating superior customer service skills and embodying our purpose, vision, and values.
  • Assist with developing and delivering regular training to service team members.
  • Work with our Executive Chef on menu features and changes, curating and providing guest feedback.
  • Suggest and implement new cocktail programs and wine pairings to complement the menu.
  • Maintain high team engagement by upholding culture standards, providing regular feedback, and using a coaching mindset.
  • Collaborate with Sales & Marketing and the Baci team to drive sales, including private parties and group bookings.
  • Address and resolve any member or guest issues as needed.
  • Handle ordering of bar inventory items.
  • Develop strong relationships with guests and employees by maintaining a regular presence on the floor during key times.
  • Act as a Duty Manager for C Hotel in the absence of other departmental managers.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Post-secondary education in a related field is preferred.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • 2-3 years of supervisory experience in the hospitality/tourism industry is required.
  • Previous restaurant experience is required.
  • POS knowledge is an asset.
  • Ability to build rapport quickly with guests.
  • Able to work on a variable schedule including days, evenings, and weekends.
