Our QSR in Southfield, MI is seeking a General Manager to help us deliver exceptional guest satisfaction and drive success. Located in the charming town of Southfield, MI, our restaurant offers a lively and engaging work environment that will keep you on your toes. As the General Manager, you will play an integral role in managing daily operations and ensuring that our guests receive top-notch service. You'll also have the chance to work closely with our dedicated team members, management staff, and outside vendors to maintain high standards across all shifts.

Responsibilities:

  1. Ability to work a 50+ hour work week. (Includes nights, weekends and some holidays)
  2. Occasional communication with Home Office personnel concerning public policy and procedures relevant to the restaurant’s operation.
  3. Maintain staffing levels (hiring employees and/or scheduling work hours) through effective planning.
  4. Utilize all company training tools to provide crew employees with on-the-job training in all aspects of restaurant operation.
  5. Implement and execute appropriate restaurant level financial controls to assure proper accountability of company funds.
  6. Receive and resolve customer complaints in a tactful manner in order to maintain customer satisfaction.
  7. Appraise performance of subordinates to assure that job performance is appropriately recognized.
  8. Prepare projections of future sales and expenses in order to establish realistic yet challenging profit objectives.
  9. Complete, approve, submit and maintain files on all internal records and reports as required by law and company policy.
  10. Train and develop the capabilities of Assistant Managers and Manager Trainees in the areas of management skills and technical knowledge in order to provide for growth.
  11. Maintain a safe work environment for all employees and customers.

Requirements:

  1. Minimum 1 year restaurant management experience required.
  2. Basic understanding of financial management and budgeting.
  3. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
  4. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  5. High school diploma or equivalent.
  6. Knowledge of food safety standards and practices.
